About Us

Now more than ever teens are seeking out experiences to serve and improve their communities in sophisticated ways. The BBYO Panim Institute provides an avenue for this through a myriad of experiences, ultimately building a youth movement rooted in hands-on service and Jewish values.

The programs and services offered by The BBYO Panim Institute are as follows:

• To provide innovative teen program opportunities that bring together service, advocacy and philanthropy focused on Jewish values and issues that make a difference in the world.
• To develop and provide educational resources for the larger Jewish educational community, focusing on service, advocacy and philanthropy, connecting Jewish values to issues that make a difference in the world.
• To provide professional training on service-learning for Jewish community educators through workshops, communal gatherings, engaging with thought-leaders, and the strategic use of distance learning technology.
• To build a trans-denominational and cross-institutional movement of engaged teens charged to make their voices heard around social issues and to make a difference in the world.

It is our vision that by offering a platform for premium service learning and advocacy education experiences for the Jewish community, today’s teens will be tomorrow’s leaders who live with the belief that social responsibility is not only linked to our Jewish heritage, but inherent to living a Jewish life.
