The BBYO Panim Institute will train and inspire a new generation of teens committed to service, advocacy and philanthropy focused on issues that make a difference in the world and the Jewish values that support civic engagement.
PANIM: The Institute for Jewish Leadership and Values was founded in 1988 by Rabbi Sid Schwarz with the express purpose of igniting the passion of the next generation of Jews to repair the world. Rabbi Schwarz led the organization for 21 years during which it empowered tens of thousands of Jewish teens to a lifetime of activism, leadership and service.
Today, as a division of BBYO, Panim offers its high-quality content and experiences to significantly more Jewish institutions and teens. By providing relevant educational resources and curriculum, in depth immersive teen experiences and professional training for Jewish educators across North America the BBYO Panim Institute is creating a movement of young activists ready to take on the challenges facing the Jewish people, America and the world.
